Tea is the heart of life in the Sylhet division. It produces over 55 million kg of tea annually from more than 150 tea estates spread over 40,000 hectares. You can stroll in the tea estate and wander a short way into the bushes and talk to the tea-pluckers and learn something about the processes that culminate in our morning tea.
Leave Dhaka early in the morning by Parabat Express train for Sylhet- This train leaves 6 days a week except for Tuesday from Kamalapur Railway Station. It is more convenient to take this train from Airport Railway Station for those people living in Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara & DOHS area.
Upon arrival, you will be received and transferred to the hotel. After check-in and lunch, the accompanying guide will take you on afternoon sightseeing tour of Sylhet town. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast start for a full day excursion to Tamabil and Jaflong. Situated amidst a splendid panorama Tamabil is a border outpost on the Sylhet-Shillong road about 55 km from Sylhet town. Glimpses of the waterfalls across the border from Tamabil add to the enchanting views of the hilly area.
Jaflong is a scenic spot nearby amidst tea gardens and beauty of rolling stones from hills.
In the afternoon drive to Sylhet for dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Transfer to the railway’s station to take the inter-city train Jayantika Express leaving Sylhet Railway Station at 07:30 am for Dhaka (except Thursday). Under normal circumstance, this train should arrive in Dhaka at 02:35 pm.
