Overnight Trip to

Kushtia by car


DAY 01

Leave Dhaka early in the morning for Kushtia. It will take about 5-6 hours to reach. On the way, you will have short tea breaks at local roadside restaurants. Upon arrival check in at the hotel to freshening up. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. After lunch drive, about 15 km from kushtia to Tagore’s Kuthibari (lodge) in Shelaidah now converted into a museum. Here you will see on display photographs and Tagore’s used items. After spending some time in this beautiful place, depending upon the availability of boat, you may take a cruise on the Padma River up to kushtia. It will take approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival to GK ghat in kushtia transfer to Cheuria at Lalon’s Shrine. There is a museum where you can visit. After spending some time you will be transferred to your hotel. Later go to a nearby restaurant for dinner. After dinner, if time permits you’ll have a walk around the hotel and visit local weaving shops. Overnight at kushtia.

DAY 02

After an early breakfast, your guide will take you out for a short city tour which will include another of Tagore’s house now converted into a museum. Around 10 am you’ll start driving back to Dhaka. You will have lunch on the way. You will arrive in Dhaka in the late afternoon.
